My name is Sasha Makarov. I was born in Ukraine and now live and work in California, United States.

I am a professional photographer with more than 20 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have photographed many different people in many parts of the world. My work has included fashion models, newborn babies, childbirth, business conferences, backstage moments for major film productions, VIP weddings, as well as portraits of politicians and business leaders.

On this page, I have gathered some of my favorite and most meaningful images. Each photograph reflects the visual language and personal style I have developed over many years of work behind the camera.

I care deeply about atmosphere, emotion, light, and character. I work with equipment I trust and know intimately, including my preferred Canon camera system and selected lenses. Whenever possible, I also like to use professional studio lighting, even on location, to create a more refined and cinematic result.

Photography, for me, is not only about capturing how someone looks — it is about revealing presence, mood, and individuality.
